MIL Sistemika at SIDEC 2025 – Slovenian Technology with a Global Reach
MIL Sistemika INT d.o.o. proudly participated in the first Slovenia International Defence Exhibition & Conference – SIDEC 2025, held from October 21st to 24th at the Celje Fairground.
The event brought together representatives from the defence industry, research institutions, and government organizations across Europe, showcasing the latest trends in digital defence, C4I systems, and advanced security technologies.
At our booth, we presented MIL Sistemika’s latest innovations in C4I platforms, Battlefield Management Systems (BMS), and communication and integration solutions built on software-defined interoperability. Visitors had the opportunity to experience how our solutions enable a unified operational picture, seamless integration of sensors, vehicles, and units, and faster, more informed decision-making in complex operational environments.
Together with our partners — ElevonX, Broadcast Solutions, MilDef, and Eyeson — we demonstrated how collaboration and technology integration are shaping the future of digital defence across air, land, and maritime domains.
During the SIDEC Open Forum, Mateja Ivanc, Sales Manager at MIL Sistemika, delivered a thought-provoking 15-minute talk titled “Shared Common Operational Picture – Taking Back the Ownership of Your Battlefield Data”. Her presentation highlighted the importance of data sovereignty, interoperability, and user empowerment in modern C4I ecosystems.
Among the innovations presented at SIDEC, special attention was drawn to an article published by Delo, Autonomous Underwater Drone – a Product of Slovenian Knowledge, which features MIL Sistemika’s contribution to the development of biomimetic underwater vehicles for reconnaissance and surveillance operations — a project led by an international consortium under the coordination of the Polish Naval Academy and supported by the European Defence Agency.
SIDEC 2025 once again proved that Slovenia holds a strong position on the European map of defence innovation. Through its participation and cutting-edge technologies, MIL Sistemika reaffirmed its mission to shape the future of digital defence — by connecting knowledge, technology, and real-world operational experience.
