OPTOKON Group and MIL SISTEMIKA have strengthened their cooperation with the aim of expanding joint activities on international defense markets and delivering fully integrated hardware and software solutions for modern operational environments.
This partnership brings together the complementary expertise of both companies. OPTOKON Group, a global provider of fiber optic connectivity, networking solutions, and secure information and communication technology infrastructure, will provide the hardware, connectivity, integration, and telecommunications foundation for complete defense-oriented C5ISR topologies.
MIL SISTEMIKA, a Slovenian defense technology company specializing in Battle Management Systems, C2/C4I, tactical communications, CBRN, UAS/UxV support, and Command & Control software solutions, will provide the advanced software layer through its Battle Management System capabilities.
The cooperation represents an important step toward delivering complete turnkey solutions to defense customers. Rather than offering isolated technologies, OPTOKON Group and MIL SISTEMIKA will be able to jointly provide integrated systems in which communication infrastructure, ruggedized hardware, vehicle-based technologies, and BMS software operate as one unified solution.
Within this partnership, OPTOKON Group will act as the technology and integration provider for complete telecommunication topologies designed for the defense sector. These topologies may include infantry vehicles, command and control infrastructure, tactical data communication, network connectivity, and system integration.
Thanks to its engineering and integration capabilities, OPTOKON Group is able to interconnect and configure multiple technologies within its internal TestBench environment. This configuration and integration laboratory enables systems to be tested before implementation into vehicles or operational platforms. The process helps verify functionality, compatibility, and stability before real deployment, reducing the risk of technical issues in field conditions.
MIL SISTEMIKA will complement this infrastructure with its Battle Management System software layer. This enables command and control, situational awareness, battlefield management, CBRN-related integration, drone and uncrewed system support, data sharing, and mission-specific operational modules.
